3 Events, Countless Stories

Bangkok Design Week 2026

From telling stories through the art of fragrant making, to tracing forgotten folklores in Thai ancient beliefs and exploring a thriving local neighborhood amid urban gentrification through self-guided audio tours, we are excited to bring you our 3 time-limited events specifically for Bangkok Design Week 2026!

Hua Lamphong Gachapon Trail – Spin for Stories

Explore Hua Lamphong with The Roots Routes Self-Guided Audio Tour, passing canal parks, tea houses, and herbal streets. Discover Hua Lamphong’s architecture and local history, then hunt hidden capsules to unlock neighborhood stories.

To make it fun and accessible, gachapon machines at key points dispense capsules filled with local products, collectibles, or stickers. Each comes with a QR code that unlocks audio stories featuring local voices, Chinese-Thai beliefs, and neighborhood history through Lumera’s gachapons.

The Wooden Rocking Thai Guardian Sidekick

Step into the Mae Sue Rocking Toy Exhibition at CODE Studio, where Thai guardian folklore is reimagined as a contemporary wooden rocking toy. Then continue the story outdoors with The Roots Routes self-guided audio tour, tracing Mae Sue trails through Bangkok Old Town at your own pace.

Along the route, you’ll uncover the beliefs behind Mae Sue, hear local voices, and see how community craft and cultural storytelling come together, turning an ancient protector into a playful, modern companion.

Scented Stories of Fueang Nakhorn

Together, we’ll explore Fueang Nakhorn, a neighborhood shaped by royal roots and a vibrant commercial past, where Siamese heritage meets Western influence. As you take in its stories and atmosphere, you’ll capture your impressions of this living museum.

Then, guided by Saisalang, you’ll step into scent design, learning how fragrances are crafted and translating your journey into a one-of-a-kind perfume. Take home not just memories, but your own bottled story of Fueang Nakhorn.

Through the power of collaboration, this is we are proud and honored to partner up with local Thai designers and brands to deliver cultural experiences that takes you far from just sightseeing and immerse yourself in local stories, cultures and heritage through different senses. We would like to express our gratitude to both our partners, and Bangkok Design Week 2026 for their unwavering support.
