The Roots Routes Wins BMA MASS Award 2025 for Cultural Storytelling on The White Lotus

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that The Roots Routes has been selected as the winner of the BMA MASS Tourist and Culture Creator Award 2025 in the Influencers & Key Opinion Leaders category, all thanks to our storytelling video on The White Lotus.

Out of 231 entries across TV, radio, print, and digital platforms in 6 different categories, only 20 winners were chosen, and we’re honored to be one of them.

Our CEO Miss Sirada, co-founder Mr. Stefan, and content creator Mr. Vatcharakorn proudly accepted the award on stage from Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok himself.

The winning video takes a deeper look into the mural paintings seen in the opening credits of The White Lotus Season 3, shot right here in Thailand. These artworks are from Wat Suthat and the lesser-known Wat Suwanaram, a hidden temple tucked in the old town. We set out to highlight not just the visuals, but the cultural heartbeat behind them, bringing attention to these roots, stories, and communities that deserve to be seen and remembered.

This award isn't just a trophy, it’s a reminder of what and why we do: to protect local stories, spotlight cultural heritage, and help the world fall in love with Thailand’s softer side.

Thank you to the Bangkok Municipality Administration for this incredible honor, to our team, and to everyone who believes in the power of storytelling, art, and travel that’s rooted in meaning.
