Sales Lead

Location: Bangkok, Thailand 

Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

About the Role

The Sales Leader will spearhead the commercial action for The Roots Routes, closely working  together with company’s founders, focusing on building strong partnerships, increasing market  visibility, and driving sales across three core verticals: 

1. Self-Guided Platform – Growing distribution through OTAs, DMCs, local partners, (TAT), and other marketplace channels. 

2. Bespoke Guided Experiences for B2B Partners – Promoting our high-end, handcrafted  cultural programs to trade partners. 

3. Jon Pichaya: Restored Heritage Boat – Developing partnerships and visibility for  private charters, curated journeys, and promotional collaborations. 

This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a deep passion for experiential tourism,  exceptional relationship-building skills, and a strong sense of initiative.

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management 

  • Develop and implement a proactive sales plan for all three product verticals. 

  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline with clear targets and measurable KPIs.

  • Identify new market opportunities and distribution partners locally and internationally. 

  • Provide regular forecasting, reporting, and analysis to the leadership team. 

Partnership Acquisition & Management 

  • Grow the network of OTAs, DMCs, and B2B trade partners for the self-guided platform. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with premium B2B clients for guided cultural  experiences. 

  • Coordinate with TAT and other tourism bodies to maximize visibility, co-marketing, and  product inclusions. 

  • Position Jon Pichaya as a unique cultural venue for private journeys, brand  collaborations, and curated events. 

  • Develop key partnerships with hospitality groups, event planners, and tourism  stakeholders. 

  • Design sales packages and experiences tailored to FIT, MICE, and luxury market  segments. 

Marketing and Operations support 

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, proposals,  and partner toolkits. 

  • Support digital campaigns and trade events to drive lead generation and brand awareness. 

  • Support the operations team in executing exceptional experiences whenever required 

  • Whenever necessary, support other departments and team members in their duty to  exceed customer satisfaction.  

Proposal Preparation 

  • Prepare tailored proposals for our B2B partners.  

  • Advice, suggest and craft unique experience proposals to clients.

Requirements

  • Curious, empathetic, and confident in talking to people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Good research and writing skills (Thai and/or English).

  • Comfortable exploring urban neighborhoods and participating in community activities.

  • Interest in culture, design, urban studies, or community-based projects.
